Day 1 vs. Day 25 of the 75 Hard Challenge

I was debating whether or not to post this because my body dysmorphia is at an all time high. Even with the obvious transformation I see every little imperfection and flaw. Every single one! It’s just not good enough. My anxiety is at an all time high too and I feel extremely vulnerable posting this. But then I remembered that I’m here to share it all. The good and the bad. It wouldn’t be true to who I am to hide all that I’m feeling from you. I’m hopeful that someday I’ll be able to look at these transformation photos with pride. Today is simply not that day.

Day 1 vs. Day 25

So here it is my Day 1 vs. my Day 25. So far I’ve lost 4.6lbs and 4” and I’ve seen a drop in my BMI, Body Fat and Visceral Fat. I’ve done well over 2,250 minutes of workouts, read over 250 pages of an actual book, drank over 3,200 ounces of water and have gone 25 days without added sugar, fast food and alcohol. There has been zero cheating and zero days off.

Day 1 vs. Day 25

Only 49 days left as of writing this post and I am in a really good groove. I cant and won’t dwell on the negative thoughts and body image issues floating around in my head. I will not let my body dysmorphia consume me. If I give it even a second more of my time it will take over and unravel everything I’ve worked so hard for. So I’m just gonna leave this post here for all of you in hopes that it inspires someone somewhere. And in hopes that someday I too will be able to look back at this and be proud of myself.

Day 25/75 Hard

Today was an extremely tough day mentally and emotionally. I woke up excited to be 1/3 of the way through this challenge already but then I felt like I got hit by a bus when I realized today was Veteran’s Day. If you saw my earlier post then you know that normally we would be celebrating my Father in Law on this day. I miss him terribly. I cried most of the day. I cried during my reading. I cried during my workouts. It was his voice in my head today telling me to keep going. And that’s exactly what I did. Day 25 is in honor of him. I love you Dad! Day 25 is on the books! Only 50 more days to go! ♠️💀❤️

Day 24/75 Hard

You’d think I learned my lesson the hard way yesterday with the gallon of water. But no, I had to chug again tonight too. I feel like water is gonna start coming out of my eye holes! If anyone should need me I’ll be going ☝🏼all night long…you know where to find me 🚽. Day 24 is on the books! Only 51 more days to go! ♠️💀❤️

Day 23/75 Hard

If you’re considering doing the 75 Hard Challenge do NOT procrastinate on getting that gallon of water in! Ugh! Chugging almost all of it at the end of day is not fun! My tummy is so bloated and I feel like I might float away. Do as I say not as I did and drink the water throughout the day. Day 23 is on the books! Only 52 more days to go! ♠️💀❤️

Day 22/75 Hard

It’s our favorite time of year here in the Valley! The weather is always perfect for hiking. So hiking we go! And as often as possible. Today’s hike even involved some rock climbing too! Day 22 is on the books! Only 53 more days to go! ♠️💀❤️

Day 21/75 Hard

We were out and about most of the day today and as a result I fell waaayyy behind on water. I chugged and chugged the second we got home. Stay hydrated my friends. Day 21 is on the books! Only 54 more days to go! ♠️💀❤️

Day 20/75 Hard

Today we hosted our 4th Annual Friendsgiving bash! So time management was an absolute must. I had notes and checked them about ten times over. Reminders and alarms going off all day to keep me on task. The entire day was a huge success!!! Day 20 is on the books! Only 55 more days to go! ♠️💀❤️

Day 19/75 Hard

What can I say…today was such a great day! I flopped on taking photos of my food today because I was too focused on taking photos of the views. We hiked over 4mi and 450ft in elevation today! Day 19 is on the books! Only 56 more days to go! ♠️💀❤️

Day 18/75 Hard

Friends started arriving to town for our annual Friendsgiving Day bash this weekend! It was just the boost in spirit that I needed to get some of my motivation back. It definitely helps when said friends fully support your goals and either workout with you or watch your kiddo so you can crush your to-do list. Day 18 is on the books! Only 57 more days to go! ♠️💀❤️

Day 17/75 Hard

I feel like I’m losing my momentum. I keep putting off the workouts till later in the day and when I finally do make the time to do them I’d rather do anything but. It’s time for me to dig deep and push harder. I CAN and I WILL push through this slump. Day 17 is on the books! Only 58 more days to go! ♠️💀❤️
