Do you ever walk past a mirror and not recognize the person in that reflection???

I’ve experienced both the positive and the negative of this, and let me tell you…the hard work, the journey, the transformation that takes place is worth it ALL a thousand times over!

You see, I used to HATE my reflection. I didn’t recognize the depressed, anxiety ridden, over thinker, over drinker, over eating, over weight women staring back at me. Then take this photo as an example of the polar opposite…Do I really look this smokin hot IRL??? I doubted this reflection until I decided to grab the camera and snap a photo…

Is this how far I have truly come??? Wow! I mean like WOWZA!!! Here I am taking a whole body selfie in front of a full length mirror with a smile that made my cheeks hurt! All because I know exactly who I am now!!! No longer depressed 24/7, still facing bouts of anxiety and continuing to learn and grow every day, but with confidence through the roof all without the hangover! Hello new me!!! You ARE FRICKIN’ GORGEOUS!!!

Fast Food

My biggest tip to those of you ready to start your own health and fitness journey…be sure your family and closest friends are aware of your goals.

The other day was super busy. I was out and about all day with a friend and we were having way too much fun to eat. So by the time I got home I was starving! Can anyone relate???

My hubby was a HUGE help and picked up dinner from McDonald’s but only for himself and Hunter, NOT for me, “because you have goals.” So instead of garbage food from McD’s for me he pulled out the ingredients for my current go-to quick and easy meal while I unpacked the car.

The Ingredients

1 Cup Stir Fry Veggies

1/2 Cup Mushrooms

x5 Spears of Asparagus

x1 tsp Coconut Oil

Pinch of Himalayan Salt

Microwave covered for 5 minutes

(Meal prepped air fryer chicken thigh optional)

Mixed Veggies and Chicken in 5 minutes or less.

Now I don’t know about you but that truly is FAST FOOD. And the kind I prefer to eat! Fast and healthy is my jam! Especially on those busy days when life gets a bit chaotic and your schedule goes haywire.

My Why

This kid right here…he is my WHY.

He is my sunshine on cloudy days.

He is my daily reminder to smile.

He is my motivation on the tough days.

He is my biggest cheerleader throughout my workouts.

He is the reason I get out of bed every morning.

He is my heart.

He is my soul.

He is my best friend.

He gives me so much joy.

He gives my life purpose.

And gives the absolute best hugs.

All that I do, I do for him.

I work on myself each and every day so that I can give him the absolute best version of me. I work on myself each and every day to teach him the importance of living a healthy lifestyle in mind, body and spirit.


Can you relate??? I’ve been stuck in a rut lately. I’ve hit a plateau recently and it’s been such a mind f*ck! It seems like such an impossible thing to push through.

Sometimes you need to look at how far you’ve come to remind yourself that you are capable of anything. I am capable of anything, including pushing past this plateau. I have abs coming in for the first time in my life for crying out loud! I should be celebrating my accomplishments and not dwelling on being stuck. But I’m human and damnit it’s hard!

Normally I clean the house from top to bottom on Fridays. But if you watched my Instagram stories yesterday I got a little distracted…ok ok I got BIG TIME distracted and ended up playing with a new ring light all day. So today as I finish up the cleaning I realized I did all the chores I enjoy most yesterday so I’m left with all the chores I hate the most for today. And I’ll be honest, playing with that new ring light again sounds much more appealing.

What chore(s) do you hate most??? For me it’s cleaning toilets. FUN FACT…this actually was my favorite chore since childhood. Then I had a boy. The old saying, “if you sprinkle when you tinkle, be a sweetie and wipe the seatie.” Doesn’t seem to apply to the rest of the toilet. Sometimes I wonder what on earth he’s aiming at to get his “tinkles” all over the place! I also hate moping the floors. I put that one off the longest. I hate tile flooring! I hate having to scrub the grout. And I hate that it’s so hard to tell wether or not it’s clean. And wouldn’t ya know almost every house in the state of Arizona has an abundant amount of tile flooring so there is no escaping it. Lucky me! NOT!!!

Haters Back Off

We haven’t always seen eye to eye. But this guy has always had my back.

I’ve had some haters come out of the woodwork since becoming a coach. People annoyed by my posts, people waiting to see me fail! Haters and creepers in my DMs. Good Lord! The creepers!!! You name it, I’ve been dealing with it behind the scenes.

Most days it doesn’t bother me one bit. You have to have a thick skin to be able to do what I do and be successful at it. But I am human and some days it is overwhelming.

But this guy right here reminds me without hesitation that what I’m doing is important. He believes in me even when I doubt myself. And he’s right! You hear that babe…YOU’RE RIGHT! 😉

Helping others while working on myself IS important. I absolutely love what I do and I believe in what I do too! It’s my passion. I’m changing lives including my own. There’s only one thing I love more than what I do and that’s proving people wrong. So to the haters and the creepers I thank you. Just keep watching! You might see me stumble but I will NEVER fail. And to my husband I owe the biggest thank you! Your love, support and belief in me means the world to me.

Support Small Businesses

I had someone the other day tell me that absolutely refused to hear my story because they “do NOT support MLMs”. Say what???

I truly don’t get it. Many people scoff at MLMs yet turn around and host online parties for Scentsy, Pampered Chef, Usborne and the like. They’ll support HUGE corporations like Target, Amazon, Walmart but aren’t willing to support the little guy??? Why?

I don’t think there is anything wrong with any of the companies I’ve mentioned! Especially those that are MLMs! As a matter of fact I applaud those who are a part of such amazing opportunities! I support other fellow #momtreprenuers every opportunity I get.

Why? Because MLMs don’t suck! They help countless others like me who might not have the business experience or money to invest in any other type of business actually start a successful business of their own with little to no start up cost.

The freedom and opportunity Beachbody has given me is life changing. For the first time in my entire marriage I was able to take my husband out for a date night! That’s HUGE to me! That’s HUGE for us! I’ve been able to gift Hunter with games and books and materials for his homeschooling. I wake up every single day excited about what I do! Excited to change lives and pay it forward.

I’m looking for other go-getters, momtreprenuers, dadtreprenuers and bad ass boss babes who want to hustle along side me. Personal Development

You can’t ask your body to go where you haven’t taken your mind first.

Personal development is a HUGE part of my journey. It’s an area we often avoid but it’s so crucial to achieving success. I’ve struggled with mental health my entire life. And it wasn’t until I started working on my mind that I found true healing and progress.

I always prefer an actual book to audio. However, because my book addiction has gotten a smidge out of hand the hubby has put a hold on new purchases. So a few great titles not shown above that I have on Audible include:

The Hulk Shirt and Sonic Shoes

This kid has big dreams and an even bigger imagination. Dress up is just a regular part of our day in this house. So when this handsome fella requests a Hulk shirt and “Sonic” shoes you get them.

There was a time that his Dad and I had trouble simply making ends meet. But now…Coaching has allowed us to make Hunter’s dreams come true. Whether it’s a simple superhero shirt or Sonic shoes today…the sky is the limit for his tomorrow and the future. I’m so excited to be able to dream big right along with him. And I am so thankful for the blessings coaching has given our family.
